    MongoDB Atlas retired the fixed-price M2/M5 shared clusters in favor of the usage-based Flex tier. Costs move from a flat monthly to a metered model — re-check spend on always-on clusters.

  • Breaking

    Node driver v6 drops callback API and older Node versions

    mongodb v6 removed the legacy callback-style API (promises only) and raised the minimum Node version. Callback-based code in v4/v5 will not compile against v6.
